Celebrate Elwha!

The Elwha is blowing up!

If you haven't heard, there is some serious activity going down in the Port Angeles area to celebrate the beginning of the dam removal projects to restore the Elwha River. The chapter will be having a mini-meeting this coming Tuesday, July 19th at 6:30 pm at the Bar N9ne in downtown Port Angeles to discuss the details of how we will actively represent the chapter at the various venues and events. December Meeting

We will be having our monthly meeting for the month of December on Wednesday December 1st (6:30pm) at the home of Mike and Lindsey Wheeler, 426 West 4th Street, in Port Angeles WA 98362.

Meeting Agenda:

1. Would the chapter support funding refreshments for the Elwha Nearshore Technical Consortium meeting in February, 2011. We have done this in the past with the Clallam Marine Resources committee.
2. Does the Chapter want to co-sponsor Clallam County Landowner Workshops on bluff management.
3. Lafarge Twin Rivers property update
4. Voting in a new Chair and Treasurer for the chapter. Also discussing a new monthly meeting location.

October Meeting

We will be having our monthly meeting for the month of October on Wednesday October 6th(6:30pm) at the home of Mike and Lindsey Wheeler, 426 West 4th Street, in Port Angeles WA 98362.
